115-123 Bird Street

Site Proposal

About the Project

At Boston Farms, we turn vacant land and open spaces into collective agricultural opportunities. The property at 115-123 Bird Street in Dorchester is slated for urban agriculture and we wish to acquire and develop this site for the purposes and advancement of the very endeavor. Under the governance of the people who are directly impacted by this land use, we seek to place this land into the hands of black and brown farmers to stimulate economic growth and advance community health.

The City’s Request For Proposals (RFP) process has opened for bidding with applications due March 1st. For more information on their process, please visit the City of Boston’s page for this site here.
