Joy Gary
Executive Director

Joy is a regenerative systems designer that is passionate about food and community. She is a lifelong Boston resident who has dedicated her time to supporting regenerative systems development, food justice, and education through urban agriculture projects. She co-managed gardening and youth development programs at The Food Project and has led ReVision Urban Farm as Farm Manager.

Ravi Parmar
Land Acquisition & Farm Development Manager
Roslindale

Ravi is an affordable housing developer with a passion for historic preservation. Since 2008 he has lived in Boston and currently resides in Roslindale. Prior to joining Boston Farms, Ravi had senior roles at MassHousing, JPMorgan Chase, and was an adjunct faculty member at the Boston Architectural College.

Varian Roberson Osunfisan Land Stewardship Manager, Mattapan

With expertise in stewardship, permaculture, soil health, and sustainable growing methods, Varian ensures the organization’s properties are well-maintained, safe, and thriving through organic, biodynamic, and regenerative agricultural practices.  Motivated by his belief in “growing what you eat and eating what you grow,” he is passionate about sharing knowledge that empowers others to live healthier lives.

Tylah Bowen Land Acquisition & Farm Development Associate, Boston

Tylah is passionate about environmental justice and design.  She holds Bachelor’s of Science in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Science from Northeastern University.

Geng Hua Li Land Acquisition & Farm Development Associate , Boston

Geng Hua is a Taiwanese student passionate about community development and social innovation. Before joining Boston Farms, her experience included leading fundraising campaigns for nonprofit organizations and supporting strategy projects for social enterprises.
